From the Director

Amid growing skepticism toward modern medical science and the pharmaceutical industry, Ayurveda has been receiving a renewed global attention. While modern, conventional medicine concentrates on the treatment of the disease, Ayurvedic medicine educates about prevention, health maintenance, and finally treatment. Ayurveda teaches us to use natural elements to eliminate the root cause of the disease by helping restore balance to the body and strengthening body’s defense systems. In Ayurvedic medicine there is a belief that a disease is the result of an imbalance in the body. The imbalance can be corrected by herbal formulas, lifestyle and diet changes. We are a team of experienced educators, from India and Europe, that would like to share our passion for Ayurvedic principles, knowledge and practical applications, with prospective students from around the world. Our students will have a unique experience of live online interaction with educators who have learned and practiced in India, the Motherland of Ayurveda. We offer integrated courses combining online theoretical learning with clinical practice culminating with eight weeks clinical practice in an Ayurvedic hospital in India. As the original Ayurveda texts were written in Sanskrit, and we believe it is essential for comprehension of Ayurvedic principles to study the texts in its original form, we provide an individual support and guidance to overcome difficulties of studying in this ancient language. Our curriculum follows the Indian Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) guidelines for education, and are set according to the WHO Benchmarks for Training in Ayurveda. .
